Digging into "A Detroit Anthology"

Detroit Anthology 2.png

7 pm, Wednesday, July 23
Free and Open to the Public

What's the story behind the stories? Join us for a spirited and interactive evening as we dig into A Detroit Anthology, the new collection of diverse nonfiction, poetry, art, and photography. Featured contributors will select their favorite pieces in the book that are not their own work to read and discuss with you, and we will also screen insightful photography from the city. Part book club, part salon, and part celebration, the audience is invited to join in on the dynamic conversation: What stories resonate with you? Provoke you? What is untold about this city and the people who live here?

Among the featured guests: Anna Clark, Nichole Christian, Aaron Foley, Patricia Lay-Dorsey, and John G. Rodwan, Jr. A Detroit Anthology will is available for purchase at Signal-Return, both before and during the event. Guests are invited to BYOB (bring your own beverage.) Free and open to all.
