Lynne has been an involved member of the Detroit arts community for many years. In 2016 she was awarded a Career Achievement Award from the Department of Fine and Performing Arts of Wayne State University, where she received her BFA and MFA. She has received numerous awards including a Kresge Fellowship in 2009 and individual artist grants from The National Endowment for the Arts and the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs. Lynne currently serves on the boards of The Kresge Arts Advisory Council and The AIGA Detroit Advisory Board. Her work is exhibited and collected internationally.

Joel grew up in the Detroit area where he attended College for Creative Studies and received his Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Illustration. A multidisciplinary artist and illustrator, Joel prints and teaches letterpress at Signal-Return. Along with maintaining the print studio and teaching workshops, Joel has had the privilege of creating work for clients such as Facebook, American Express, Shinola, Team Detroit, Willys, Gunner Animation, Little Luxuries of Mackinac, and Nora. When he is not at Signal-Return, he maintains a painting studio in Corktown's St. Vincent collective with fellow Detroit artists.

Danya manages the retail space at Signal-Return and curates the work sold in store. She assists in the studio with printing, type organization, and maintenance. She holds a BFA in Photography from OCAD University in Toronto and participated in an exchange at the College for Creative Studies. Danya’s multidisciplinary art practice is shaped by her extensive knowledge of photographic film and darkroom techniques. She is a member of the international artist collective 23kg50lb and a fellow of Facing Change: Documenting Detroit. Her work has been exhibited internationally.

Lee works with clients to produce original posters, offers guided sessions, and handles job printing for the studio. She holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree in printmaking from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she also worked as a letterpress printer at Yee-Haw Industries. She has printed professionally at Kala Institute in Berkeley, California and studied book arts at the University of Iowa. She was a recipient of a year long Stein Scholarship at the Center for Book Arts in New York City in 2013, and her work is in Special Collections libraries throughout the U.S. She has printed editions for many artists including Alison Bechdel, Henrik Drescher, and Artemio Rodriguez.
