Have a favorite phrase, lyric, or motto that you want to print as a poster? In this two-session workshop you will have the opportunity to incorporate linoleum carving and handset type. The first session will concentrate on techniques of linoleum carving. In the second session you will learn the basic techniques for composing with wood type. In addition to learning how to work with type, attendees will gain knowledge in locking-up and printing their composition on a manual proof press.
