In this class, students will learn about the basic tools and principles of letterpress printing through the production of a new Matchy Matchy memory game. We will choose our images from precarved linoleum blocks in the Signal-Return collection and print them on the proofing presses together. Everyone goes home with a deck of their own!

BIO: Ronica Dhar is a writer, educator and maker who enjoys promoting literacy and well being.  She holds an MFA in Fiction from the University of Michigan, has taught English for over fifteen years in the kindergarten through college community, and is currently making the specimen book of wood type at Signal-Return.
