Linoleum carving is a common method used by printers to create illustrations and other shape-based elements in their print projects. This beginner-friendly workshop explores the materials and techniques needed to create a hand-carved image that is printable on a letterpress.
Instructor: Joel Grothaus is an artist and designer who also works as Shop Tech at Signal-Return. He graduated in 2010 from the College for Creative Studies with a BFA in Illustration.
