SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12 [10–4 PM]
This one-day workshop will start with an introduction to printing using our collection of wood type and illustrations to create covers on heavyweight cardstock. After lunch participants will transform paper into booklets using a few different binding techniques, some more formal and decorative, some basic and very quick. Each person should be able to create multiple simple booklets during the workshop.
Students should bring: bone folder, ex-acto knife and unused blades (available at Blick)
Instructor: Lee Marchalonis is Signal-Return’s printer-in-residence.
