Saturday, FEBRUARY 23 [10-4 PM] • $115 • All Materials Included
Linoleum carving is a common method used by printers to create illustrations and other shape-based elements in their print projects. This workshop explores the materials and techniques needed to create a hand-carved image that is printable on a letterpress. Students should come to class with an idea or example of the imagery they will carve on a 6”x9” block of linoleum. They will learn to properly lockup, register, and print their block on proof presses. All materials included, participants will receive their own carving tool set to take home.
