Design your own custom, 2-color letterpress stationery card in this 2-day workshop. Students will learn typesetting and 2-color registration techniques to print a set of twenty 4.25” x 5.5,” A2 size letterpress notecards.

Whether it’s a single letter or monogram, students will be able to customize their stationery with their personal flair. Participants will design their stationary headers with our movable lead type, learn how to lock up a chase, and print on our tabletop platen presses.

Cost of workshop includes 100% Tree Free Crane’s Letterpress paper & envelopes. Enjoy a class with your friends, learning something new or refining your letterpress skills to create your new favorite snail mail card set.

Laura Beyer is an artist specializing in printmaking and book arts. She graduated with her BFA from Albion College and her MFA from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Laura’s artwork has been collected by colleges & universities, private collections as well as the Detroit Institute of Art. Her letterpress business, Hearty Greetings, uses the long tradition of print along with the modern possibilities of design to produce artisanal goods for special occasions or everyday use.
