Stationery Cards Letterpress Workshop

$150.00

Instructed by Elizabeth Isakson-Dado (The Aquarius House)

Saturday, April 12, 10am-4pm

Class Size: Maximum 8

Send your next letter in style! Learn how to design a set of 10 letterpress printed stationary cards with matching printed envelopes.

Whether it’s a classic design with your name or monogram, or a clever phrase, students will be able to customize their stationery with their personal flair. Participants will design their cards with our movable lead type, learn how to lock up a chase, and mix ink by hand. Each person will print their own design on our tabletop platen presses.

Come prepared with an idea for your stationary header. Think short and sweet, keep text within 4 words or less or about 20 letters.

Cost of workshop includes materials, instruction by S-R staff and takeaway prints. Paper in this workshop is from French Paper Company, a small Michigan Paper Mill around for more than 140 years.
