Design your own letterpress Valentine cards in this one-day workshop. Students will learn basic typesetting and printing techniques to create a set of twenty folded cards with your custom greeting. Elizabeth Isakson-Dado is an artist, educator, and curator. She holds a BFA in Printmaking from Wayne State University, and an MFA in Book & Paper Arts from Columbia College Chicago. Liz has exhibited widely in the US and has work in institutional collections including the Poetry Foundation, the Center for Book and Paper Art, and Art in Print Magazine. For the past 10 years, she has taught university classes and community workshops in letterpress printing. Liz also sells her own prints through her Instagram, @theaquariushouse, to raise money for social justice campaigns. She lives and works in Berkley, Michigan.
