Join us for a collaborative workshop co-hosted by Detroit Rose and Signal Return to learn the art of candle making and letterpress design. In this workshop, you will learn how to develop your own fragrance and the process of hand pouring a soy wax candle with Detroit Rose. Signal Return will be providing the history and instruction on traditional letterpress typesetting and printing. Using those techniques, you will design your own label to apply to your finished candle with some sweet Valentine's Day flair - name your candle after the scent you created, the place of your first date, or an inside joke between you and your BFF.
Cost of workshop includes materials, instruction by S-R and Detroit Rose staff, takeaway prints and candles.
