This workshop is specifically geared towards individuals who have taken at least one of our basic typesetting classes looking to expand on that experience by learning a few more tricks of the trade before beginning to rent press-time in the shop.   This day-long session will consist of a series of demonstrations both on and off of the press including techniques for: planning and locking-up forms used for multi-color prints, ink mixing, ink modification, block to block transfers, and setting type on a curve.  A portion of the day will be dedicated to discussing projects that you’d like to realize in the coming months. The instructor will be happy to troubleshoot any worries or woes you might have.
